Building on the CX237, Lake has improved performance and durability with its favourite for high-cadence rides, the Lake CX238 road shoe.

Designed for a better and more comfortable fit, the Competition last increases toe pitch and heel lift, allowing the foot to expand under high pedalling pressure. Supporting the shoe, the Race carbon fibre sole from Lake offers impressive stiffness and power transfer while remaining lightweight. To protect the shoe from premature wear, the full-grain leather upper features a heel panel and a rubber toe bumper, as well as mesh panels for adequate ventilation.

Designed for high-pressure rides, the wider forefoot of the Lake CX238 provides the necessary relief to focus on the road ahead.

- With a profile specifically designed for very high-cadence pedalling and higher pressure, our Competition shape has a more curved profile than the Sport shape. The main differences include increased toe pitch and heel lift, a tighter heel, and a slightly wider fit at the forefoot to allow the foot to expand under high pedalling pressures.

High-quality, water-resistant full-grain leather or Clarino microfiber and Outlast heel lining. The Helcor heel panel and rubber toe bumper protect the upper from scuffs and scratches.
