The Scarabeo elbow guard is designed around the Pro-Shape Scarabeo protection, inspired by the geometry of auxetic materials found in nature that, in the event of an impact or stress, expand simultaneously in all directions, thus increasing the coverage area. The structure of the protection allows for maximum flexibility and adaptability to all arm positions, following the movements of the young rider, both during pedaling and descending. The Pro-Shape Scarabeo absorbs 83% of the impact force, not transferring the energy of a potential impact to the elbow. The surface of the protection is open on 55% of its area, allowing, together with the highly breathable stretch fabric, great ventilation and optimal thermal exchange, even on the hottest days.
