The Minaki III STX Winter shoes are just as impressive on snow-covered trails at home as they are for the daily commute to work. The Sympatex© membrane combined with a moisture-regulating fleece lining ensures complete protection against the elements. In addition to the waterproof and breathable membrane, the outer fabric of the Minaki III STX MTB shoes has been treated with the Eco Finish water-repellent and dirt-repellent finish without PFC. Even without automatic pedals, your feet stay nice and dry: the cleat housing in the sole is sealed watertight. The insulation keeps your feet warm even in freezing temperatures. An extra layer in the toe box reduces the wind chill effect (air currents combined with almost immobile toes). Unlike the previous model, the lacing has been placed on the side rather than hidden under the tongue in the Minaki III STX Winter MTB shoe. This allows for ergonomic adjustments at any time, even while wearing gloves. The sole is relatively stiff at the pedal for optimal power transmission, yet grippy enough for carrying or pushing on rough terrain. The sturdy upper is equipped with an additional robust TPU layer in the heel and toe areas to protect against sharp stones.
