Integrated headset Inset 7 (ZS44 - EC44-40)

For many years now, headset products have been the standard in headset construction. The legendary durability of the high-quality, multi-sealed industrial bearings and the classic design have characterized the appearance of the American manufacturer's products for years. The precision-milled and color-anodized surfaces are, as always at Chris King, of extremely high quality. Thanks to the newly developed system, the clamping of the fork steerer is improved to counteract the increased forces that occur with long-stroke forks. The multi-piece cap is equipped with a split cone ring, which makes it even easier to connect the steerer tube to the fork steer. As with all components, the heart of the headset is in the bearings. These are produced directly at the company and, thanks to a special manufacturing process, contain more balls than the competition, resulting in a more stable system overall. Each bearing is manually checked for quality defects before it is mounted and, if necessary, eliminated.
