Ultra-light tyre. Despite its lightweight, it offers high puncture resistance and great durability.
In addition to the improved tread compared to its predecessor, S3 LITE, it features a new highly resistant casing (210/375 TPI) and a wide base layer. This results in a smooth ride.

VECTRAN for PUNCTURE BARRIER

This highly efficient puncture protection system is located directly beneath the tread. The core of the puncture protection system is made from VECTRAN, liquid crystal polymers (LCP) that are 5 times stronger than steel.
VECTRAN also offers high cut and impact resistance while being lightweight, in short, high performance for premium tyres.

SPC SILICA RUBBER MIX

We use this special rubber mix in most of our road tyres: with a hardness of SH A 66, this combination of synthetic and natural rubber enriched with Activated Silica provides excellent grip in wet conditions and offers low rolling resistance.

1. The base layer is made from cotton. It absorbs the glue evenly, allowing for an optimal bond between the rim and the tyre.
2. Tread made from a rubber mix with Activated Silica, silica, or carbon black (depending on the model).
3. Protective rubber layer located beneath the tread, indicating tyre wear and an increased risk of puncture when this layer appears (depending on the model).
4. Puncture protection layer made from a woven rubber mix, reinforced with CRCA.
5. The casing layers are overlapped and bonded under the tread, increasing the TPI (threads per inch) and resistance to punctures.
6. The casing is made of two layers of woven rubber mix with reverse orientation, bonded and reinforced with CRCA. - The TPI varies from 60 to 210, depending on the model.
7. The inner sealing layer is a special butyl rubber mix with very low air permeability, allowing for long inflation intervals. The strong bond between the sealing layer and the casing allows for low rolling resistance.
