The Seismic Carbon is our flagship handlebar, and the aim was to make this carbon handlebar as strong as possible, while concentrating on reducing the vibrations that occur during long, forearm-tiring rides over rough terrain. This means less effort and longer riding!
We went through many approaches to achieve this, even filling the handlebars with foam. But to solve the problem and effectively reduce vibration, you have to start with the material. And that's what we've done.
Working closely with our engineers and our EFBE test laboratory at Allemagne, we sought a solution that would produce a handlebar with exceptional strength and durability, and which also improved ride quality. The result was a unique carbon fiber processing technology that produces a handlebar that is light and strong in the toughest conditions. By optimizing the configuration to meet the specifications, we produced a carbon handlebar that actively reduces shock to the arms by attenuating impact and reducing vibration. A handlebar that gives you the confidence to launch into a section of rocks and roots, without fear of shock when landing.
The Seismic handlebar is tested to the highest level, passing the most stringent handlebar testing standard in existence - the EFBE EPAC MTB-GR 2021 - suitable for the toughest use on electric and DH bikes, it is Level 5 safety approved.
