The Scarabeo knee pad is built around the Pro-Shape Scarabeo protection, inspired by the geometries of auxetic materials found in nature, which, upon impact or stress, expand simultaneously in all directions, thus increasing the coverage area. The structure of the protection allows for maximum flexibility and adaptability to all knee positions, following the movements of the young rider, from pedalling to descending. The Pro-Shape Scarabeo absorbs 83% of impact force, not transferring the impact energy to the knee. The protection surface is open on 55% of its area, which, together with the highly breathable stretch fabric, provides great ventilation and optimal thermal exchange, even on the hottest days.
