Ritchey Bike wheel Comp Zeta Gx 700C Boost Shimano

Although the Zeta GX Boost wheels are a newer product for Ritchey, you could say their development has been ongoing for over 50 years. Tom Ritchey, often with his mentor, Jobst Brandt, and other friends, has been opening trails and riding tough terrains since the early 1970s. Riding on dirt is almost literally in Tom's blood.

Directly inspired by the reliability, versatility, and top performance of the original Zeta wheels from Ritchey, the new Comp Zeta GX Boost wheelset is designed to excel particularly on gravel. These hand-built wheels are tubeless-ready and feature forged disc hubs with sealed bearings and six-bolt rotor mounts, a 4-paw engagement system integrated into the hub body, and of course, boost spacing. The rims offer a wide internal diameter of 25 mm, making them perfect for fitting wider gravel tires, and they are laced with 28 sturdy spokes.

Tom Ritchey doesn’t carry a mobile phone when he rides. He also doesn’t worry about the complexity of tracking GPS coordinates on a cycling computer.
