Although the WCS Zeta GX Boost wheels are a new product for Ritchey, one could say their development has been in the works for nearly 50 years. Tom Ritchey, often accompanied by his mentor, Jobst Brandt, and other friends, has been trailblazing and riding on tough terrains since the early 1970s. Riding on dirt is almost literally in Tom's blood.

Directly inspired by the reliability and exceptional performance of the original Zeta wheels Ritchey, the new WCS Zeta GX Boost wheelset is designed to shine on gravel. These handmade wheels are tubeless-ready and feature the new WCS hub with sealed bearings, central-lock rotor mounts - the rear hub contains a precise Ratchet Driver system with 360-degree engagement and 36 points, and of course, a boost spacing. The rims offer a wide internal diameter of 25 mm, making them perfect for wider gravel tires, and they are laced with 28 sturdy spokes.

Tom Ritchey doesn’t take a mobile phone when he rides. He also doesn’t bother tracking GPS coordinates on a bike computer.
