Most child bike seats aren’t designed for modern mountain bikes, but the Pro EVO changes all that. This is the very first 2-in-1 child seat specifically made for mountain bikes. It transitions from the harness mode for 9 to 24 months to the Pro saddle mode for 2 to 5 years. One seat, two configurations, four years of adventure. Bike compatibility / installation The Shotgun Pro EVO fits nearly all modern mountain bikes, whether muscular or electric, with a standard 1 1/8" fork pivot and at least 10 mm of space under the stem. Adapters for bikes with integrated cables running through the headset spacers, or for specific headsets like the Trek Knock Block, are available separately. We do not recommend the Pro EVO for bikes without front suspension, such as road bikes or beach cruisers, due to the lack of space between the child’s feet and the front wheel of the bike. The Shotgun Pro handlebars are compatible with handlebar diameters of 31.8 mm or 35 mm, and stems up to 60 mm wide. The Pro EVO combines two seats in one. It starts in harness mode (for children weighing 9 to 15 kg) and transforms into the Pro saddle (for children weighing 12 to 27 kg) as soon as the child is ready. Adjust the position and angle of the saddle precisely to fit your bike. You’ll enjoy more space at the handlebars, a better steering angle, an ideal position for your child, and no parts that hit your fork or frame. The harness seat is equipped with a secure Fidlock® buckle for children, a 5-point harness, and a chest strap. Both seat configurations meet the safety standards for their age group, allowing you to ride with peace of mind from the early years to off-road adventures.
