Stans Bicycle rear wheel Crest S2 Sram XDR

Improving a quality tubeless wheelset is the best way to enhance the comfort of your XC or Gravel bike. Tubeless offers more comfort and control with less rolling resistance, and when it comes to tubeless, nothing beats the ease of inflation and performance of Stan's patented Bead Socket technology. Introduced over 15 years ago, the original Crest rim design with BST helped kickstart the tubeless revolution. Today's Crest S2 wheels provide quick and easy inflation, the renowned airtight seal, and a width of 25 mm that offers incredible stability for Gravel and XC tyres ranging from 40 mm to 2.3". Made from 6061 aluminium with a reinforced spoke bed and eyeleted spoke holes for strength, the Crest S2 rim is built to last. The wheelset also features E-sync hubs with a quick engagement, designed to handle the extra weight and forces from eBikes and more aggressive riders. With chromoly axles, heat-treated steel ratchet rings, dual-row Enduro bearings, and a ratchet design that reduces stress on the bearings, the E-sync hubs are made for smoother riding over extended periods. The four ratchets of the E-sync also offer quick engagement at 8.18°. The S2 wheelsets with E-sync hubs are perfect for anyone looking for low maintenance and high performance. Like all Stan wheels, the Crest S2 continues a tradition of serviceability by using traditional J-bend spokes that are readily available. To make life even easier, the matched Crest S2 wheelsets use a single spoke length, and their hub caps are easily accessible and compatible with previous Neo hubs. The Crest S2 is an ideal replacement or upgrade for Gravel and XC bikes. Available with Shimano Micro Spline, HG, or SRAM XDR freehubs, and a 6-bolt or Centerlock brake style, with options to fit all popular axle configurations. Tubeless-ready with rim tape installed. Whether you're riding on your local trails, participating in your first XC race, or heading out on a gravel bikepacking adventure, the Crest S2 wheelset can enhance your riding experience.
