The Groundtrax® sole, featuring a cleat housing inspired by the Materia model, provides a direct interface with the pedal. The calibrated stiffness of the structure optimises energy transmission, while the EVA midsole absorbs vibrations, enhancing comfort and sensitivity on the pedals, even on longer rides. Protection is provided by reinforcements at the toe and heel, which absorb impacts and protect against shocks.
