Frame Lock Black Friday: discounts and bundles

Abus indicates the type of key with a suffix: R for retained key, NR for removable key. Its Amparo 4750XL, rated 9 on the home scale, offers a widened opening for very wide tyres.
Axa sells its Solid Plus with its fastening: the bow opens to 58 mm and cannot close while the wheel is spinning.
Kryptonite offers several versions of its frame lock, compatible with its plug-in chains and cables.

Can my bike take a frame lock?
There needs to be enough space between the rear wheel and the stays, and preferably threaded inserts intended for this installation. Without them, an adapter strap or ties can work on many city frames.
Does a frame lock prevent the bike from being stolen?
It stops someone from riding away, but not from taking the bike. For a stop longer than a few minutes, link it to a fixed point with a plug-in chain, or add a U-lock.
What frame lock for an electric bike?
A model with a large opening, for wide tyres and mudguards, and a high level of security. Some manufacturers offer a cylinder matching the battery lock: check with the bike brand.
Do all plug-in chains fit all locks?
No. The end must match the lock: preferably take the chain of the same brand, or a model declared compatible by the manufacturer.
Are discounts on frame locks only valid on Black Friday?
